Henrique investigates new media as political and poetic tools, approaching them as instruments for the emancipation of new narratives and contexts. Recently, his research has focused on Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, using these technologies as sensitive expressions of autofiction, memory, and affective spatialities.
​
He holds a master’s degree in Visual Poetics from PPGAV-UFRGS. His main exhibitions include the FLAME TP Video Art Fair (Taipei, Taiwan), the solo show Funk Ficção (Salamanca, Spain), and the group show Crash (Zipper Galeria, Brazil).
​
In 2025, he took part in the FACT Liverpool / KinoBeat international residency program, where he developed new research in dialogue with local and global contexts, focusing on rivers and climate change.
​
Awarded the 10th Marcantonio Vilaça Visual Arts Award, his work is now part of the collection of Casa de Cultura Mario Quintana in Porto Alegre.
